Passenger Safety Cell
The passenger cabin (passenger cell) of a car meets the requirements for a passenger safety cell, so that this structure and thus the survival space of the passengers in severe accidents remain as intact as possible. This requires a design which "deflects" the occurring forces during an accident, that is to say, it occurs in those parts of the bodywork which are designed as programmed deformation zones to reduce these forces.
