MP3
MP3 refers to compressed digital audio data. The MP3 format is a widely-used standard for compressing digital audio files. With the same sound quality, MP3 files occupy roughly one tenth of the memory space of an audio CD. MP3 stands for MPEG 1 Audio Layer 3. MPEG is a method developed by the "Motion Picture Experts Group" for compressing digital video and audio data.
To reproduce MP3 files, an MP3-compatible playback device is required, such as SEAT provides in most cars.
