Electronic accelerator
In the conventional gas or accelerator pedal, a mechanical connection (Bowden cables, coupling rod) transmits the accelerator command to the carburettor.
The electronic accelerator pedal sends an electronic pulse to the engine control unit, which perfectly coordinates the carburation and motor control.
When equipped with ESP, an electronic accelerator is essential. This is why all SEAT models have this feature.
