Agile Chassis
The term chassis covers all the components that directly influence driving behaviour. These include the front and rear axle, the spring and shock absorber system, the steering, brakes, tyres and wheels. At SEAT, all these components are matched for each specific model to give optimum driving safety, driving pleasure and driving dynamics. As early as the design stage, these requirements are taken into account and are reflected in elaborate designs such as the modern and extremely dynamic multi-link rear suspension. The fine tuning of SEAT's Agile Chassis is finally carried out in countless road tests under very varying conditions. The driver thus has the assurance that his SEAT model offers maximum driving pleasure through agile handling and a high level of driving dynamics combined with high driving and suspension comfort and maximum safety at the wheel.
